同事工作忙到焦头烂额，你想跟他说：“剩下的工作就‘交给我吧’！”你会怎麽用英文表达呢？这又是一个不能直翻的英文罗！一起来看看今天的情境对话吧！

Lizzy 最近接了一个新的教学项目，每天忙到应付不过来，隔壁的 Amy 看不下去，跟她说：“Give it to me! 其他交给我，你先回家吧！”

感谢有好心的 Amy，减轻了 Lizzy 的工作负担。但其实刚刚 Amy 说的 Give it to me. 不太正确喔，往下看看怎麽说最正确吧！

破解 NG 英文
想到“交给我吧！”中的动词“交”，可能下意识就会说出 give 这个动词。但是 Give it to me. 其实意思会是“把现在眼前那个实体的东西给我”。例如妈妈抓到小明偷藏糖果在背后，可能会说：
What's in your hand? Give it to me.（你手里是什麽？拿出来给我。）

或者要请别人把东西拿给你，有可能会说：
Hey, there's a book behind you. Could you give it to me?（嘿，你后面有本书。可以拿给我吗？）

所以要跟别人说，这件事情“交给我办”吧，不能够说：
Give it to me. (X)

可以换个很类似的句型：
Leave it to me. (O)

Leave 字面上是“留”的意思，“把事情留给我”其实就是指“这件事情交给我来吧”。也可以运用 leave something to someone“把某事留给某人”的用法，例如：
Don't worry. Just leave everything to me. I'll take care of it.（别担心。就把所有事情交给我就好。我会处理好。）

那“交给我吧”除了可以说 Leave it to me. 还可以说：
I'm on it. (O)

例如：
A: Hey, John. Can you finish the report before 3 p.m.?（嘿，John。你能在下午三点前做完报告吗？）
B: Sure. I'm on it.（没问题。交给我处理吧。）

大家每天都有大小事要处理，例如处理日常琐事、工作任务或是人际关系等等 （人生好辛苦 😅）但是这些处理的英文要怎麽说呢？一起来看看 handle, deal with 和 cope with 的用法吧～

Handle

Handle 作为动词“处理”的意思时，指的是处理自己需要负责的事情。象是要应对工作上各种状况，管理人事物都可以使用handle。

I am not sure if I can handle this case. I have too much work.
我不确定能不能处理这个案子，手上太多任务作要做了 😫

He does not know how to handle difficult clients.
他不知道如何搞定难缠的客户。

当你觉得信心满满，相信自己能搞定，可以说 I can handle it 💪🏻 和 I can do it 有类似的意义。

A: Do you want me to come with you? That guy looks creepy.
你要我跟你一起去吗？那个人看起来怪怪的。
B: Thanks, but I think I can handle it.
谢啦，不过我想我应付得来。

相反地，当情况超出能力范围，无法负荷时，就可以说 I can’t handle it 或是 I can’t handle 某事 😥

I can’t handle the stress of supporting the whole family on my own.
我无法承受独自养全家人的压力。

He can’t handle the criticism from family and friends.
他无法承受亲友的批评。

Deal with

Deal with 也有“处理、对付”的意思。
Deal with 处理的状况通常没有 handle 困难，而且解决後就好了，不是长期存在的问题 😁 分成后面接“事物”，和接“人”的两种用法。

Deal with 事物：为了完成具体事情，或是解决抽象问题，而采取行动。
This program is designed to deal with the problem.
这个程序是设计来解决问题的。

How do you deal with conflicts?
你如何处理冲突？

Deal with 人：应付、对付某人，进行交涉，和人打交道。

Although he dislikes these people, he still deals with them with politeness and respect.
虽然他不喜欢这些人，他还是以礼待人、尊重对方。

As a kindergarten teacher, she has to deal with parents all the time.
身为幼稚园老师，她必须常常和家长打交道。

Cope with

Cope with 也有“处理”的意思。大多表示能够成功克服困难的处境，把事情处理得妥妥贴贴 🙌🏻 ✨

The counsellor helps him cope with the grief of losing his son.
辅导员协助他成功度过丧子之痛。

I have been coping with diabetes for 20 years.
我已经控制住糖尿病20年了。

How do you cope with the changes so well? I miss the good old days.
你怎麽适应这些新变化，适应得这麽好呀？呜呜我想念以前的美好时光 😭
